Biographies
Dr. Howard Budner O.D.
Dr. Budner graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in the top ten. He scored the 4th highest grade in the country on the competency exam for the treatment of eye diseases. His residency included running the eye clinic at Andrews Air Force Base and at the Eye Surgery Center in Silver Spring. He completed an internship at the Learning Disabilities Clinic in Dallas, Texas. He is also the founding member of SPECTRUM eyecare, the only Optometry/Ophthalmology network in the Metropolitan area. Dr. Budner moved here from New York with his wife. He has 2 wonderful children and lives in Maryland.
Dr. Michael Morshedi O.D.
Dr. Michael Morshedi is originally from Richmond, VA, and he earned his undergraduate degree in Math and Chemistry as a pre-med student at Virginia Commonwealth University. He then completed a graduate certificate in Physiology at the Medical College of Virginia, before matriculating into the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Morshedi scored in the top 99.3 percentile on the Optometry Admissions Test. After being offered scholarships from several schools, he chose PCO based on their national clinical rotations. During his 3rd and 4th year he trained with two Bascom Palmer ophthalmologists in Miami, FL, as well as a Georgetown trained ophthalmologist in Bethesda, MD. He completed his final 3 months of optometry school at the National Naval Medical Center. He is very active in sports and exercise, and he enjoys traveling in his spare time.
